Happy Holidays! For the pure joy of it, furs.com is celebrating the season -- and the importance of fur fashion this past year -- with a two-part Star Style bringing you an unprecedented number of photos of celebrities wearing furs. These pictures prove beyond a doubt how important fur is, once again, in making stars look like stars. Grunge is long gone, and this is truly a Golden Age of sparkling, classic glamour.

Star Style 2000 Part I focuses on the music business, where apparel is synonymous with costume and crucial to image. Since we last brought you Star Style on November 6, 1999, rockers, rappers, pop stars and other music icons have made fur an integral part of their varying looks. Taking a plunge into luxury with abandon, they reflected the fashions of the day but also tailored them to their own personalities. Lil' Kim became even more outrageous with psychedelic furs. Madonna's music video launched a run on cool, white fur coats. Fur was key to Jennifer Lopez's flaming status as hottest celeb of the year. And Britney Spears showed off her new diva status by wearing a goddess gown with white fox boa to this year's Grammy Awards.

Other music stars boasted furs from fun to fabulous, demonstrating their fashion savvy but setting the pace of style with their own high-wattage personalities: Cher, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Will Smith, Ananda Lewis, Macy Gray, Queen Latifah, TLC, Whitney Houston, Missy Elliott, Jewel, Eve, Mary J. Blige and Natalie Cole.

Don't forget to come back to furs.com Jan. 1 to welcome 2001with a look at Hollywood Glamour Girls, more than 30 photos from the past year including Jennifer Aniston, Lucy Liu, Catherine Zeta Jones and many more wearing fur.
