Buonuomo shows us the relaxed version, as chinchilla trim on a superluxe cashmere sweater. Halston brought out a new twist on the stole this season, and Ekso injects youth into chinchilla, using it as a little vest/top with a matching barrel muff.

This holiday's must-have red is the most stunning in fur, whether it's dyed mink, fox, raccoon or even rabbit. The tones are deep claret or scarlet or crimson, and they're often generously striped or tinged with black for added drama. Of course, there is literally any style fur for any occasion to be had in these lipstick-shocking shades. Jackets and coats by Zandra Rhodes, Mark Montano and Buonuomo can be dressed up or down, while Christina Perrin's biker jacket begs for an outfit with edge. And if you just want an accent, there's Heidi Weisel's scarf of Randolph Duke's stole.
