The list keeps growing of style-setters wearing fur. Since furs.com brought you our first celebrity roundup a year ago, we've been keeping an eye out for new faces to add to the fur fashion brigade. After all, aren't these furs so much chicer than pashmina?

Take a look at who we found recently: Rene Russo, Megan Mullally, Kid Rock, Rita Wilson, Heather Locklear, Lara Flynn Boyle, Marisa Berenson, Foxy Brown, Susan Lucci, Miss Universe Mpule Kwelagobe, Michael Bergin, Natasha Richardson and Sharon Lawrence.

Talk about a diverse group of characters. What better way to prove fur's versatility as a fashion material than shown worn by rapper Kid Rock, acting royalty Natasha Richardson and Baywatch star Michael Bergin?

Whether they're dressed in character for a role or in the spotlight at an awards ceremony, these celebs know the must-have look is fur.

There are few holdouts who just won't appear in fur these days. The recent PeTA awards on VH1 proved the point. Two celebs appearing to show their support for the rabid animal rights group also appeared in last year's furs.com Star Style column wearing fur. I suppose we'll never know what really goes through the minds of the likes of Gillian Anderson and Anne Heche, but when it comes to Pamela Anderson Lee, well, let's just say we're pretty sure what's NOT in her head.

She was the major honoree at the PeTA show, receiving her award from none other than Paul McCartney (he of the reported statement, Now that my wife has tragically died from breast cancer, I will concede that maybe some medical testing on animals is necessary). Anyway, not a month before the PeTA awards were televised, Anderson Lee made herself characteristically conspicuous at the MTV awards wearing a huge, tacky pink marabou feather hat. Now we must ask, in her mind, do birds count as animals?
