Fur Age

The revival of interest in fur garments continues to be fueled by designers, who value fur's unique ability to add texture, glamour and sensuality to an ensemble. The recent Fur Fashion Week shows in New York made it obvious to members of the media, who were on hand to watch (pictured first row) Zuki, Michael Lund, Paula Lishman (right) with co-designer Joan Cochrane, Lisa & Andre Bisang, D'Arcy Moses, (second row) Marc Jacobs, Yeohlee Teng, Dennis Basso (who held his show the week before Fur Fashion Week, at the Pierre), Zandra Rhodes, Jerry Sorbara, (third row) Oscar de la Renta, Resa Bason, Michael Kors (not shown), and Byron Lars (not shown) take bows for their collections.
